Over the years of travelling to
Florida we have visited many places, some of which we
thought you might like to see and hopefully find something of interest to you and your family. CELEBRATION Celebration is a small Disney town about 10 miles from the villa and is signposted from the I-4. The homes on Celebration are all privately owned now but the owners have to adhere to a strict code of conduct. As a result the homes and streets are always perfect! The High Street ends at the lake. A stroll around in the afternoon and maybe an ice cream at the parlour - it's all idyllic! The cinema hosts two shows a day - always suitable for children. OLD TOWN KISSIMMEE On a Friday and Saturday evening Old Town Kissimmee hosts a car parade not to be missed! Stroll around the cars - all the pride and joy of their owners. They range from old Cadillacs to new Chrysler PT Cruisers, all spruced up and painted for you to enjoy. ![]() ![]() ![]() At the end of your walk around through the cars why not stroll back up along the Old Town High Street and maybe get an ice cream from the parlour! TREASURE ISLAND BEACH - GULF COAST Treasure Island Beach is beautiful, white sand stretches as far as you can see! There is a small free car park with showers and toilets opposite a Publix supermarket - if you have a sat nav the address is - 111 104th Ave Treasure Island, FL 33706-4804 - takes you straight there :) or 10400 Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island, FL 33706 The yellow sunshades are available to hire - and they come with sun loungers! A handy base and shield from the sun. Just choose one and a truck will come along shortly - approx $15 for a half day, $20 a day! |
